Prosperity Alliance

Prosperity Alliance is a nonprofit development initiative co-founded by Shawn Kennedy to make homeownership more accessible and sustainable for working families across the Carolinas. The organization focuses on building attainable, for-sale homes for families earning 60–120% of the area median income—expanding access to wealth-building opportunities and strengthening neighborhood stability.

By partnering with municipalities, churches, and community developers, Prosperity Alliance delivers projects rooted in inclusion, integrity, and empowerment. The initiative plays a vital role in helping close Charlotte’s wealth gap and supporting long-term stability through homeownership.
